The book "T'was the Night before Christmas" is very popular at home. Ariane decided to read it.

Elle ne resta pas seule très longtemps, Viviane lui demanda de le lire avec elle.

She did not stay on her own for very long, Viviane asked her to read it with her.

Et enfin Greta se joigna à elles, donc elles  s'installèrent plus confortablement dans un fauteuil.
